Default !HELP! CD player not accepting CD's?

As the title states, my cd player is not accepting CDs. I recently bought an 05 OEM CD player, and it is not wanting to take in any CDs. When i hold down eject it says "EJECT ALL CDs", but when I hit load nothing happens!

Please let me know if theres something wrong that I didnt do, or If I have a broken Cd Player!

Thanks,
Tim

I had the same problem w/ my oem 6 disc changer. My cd player was broken and the cd's were stuck inside and i got the same message. Dealer said it wasn't covered under warranty. They told me it would cost 200 dollars to fix !!! I told them to f*** off and put a pioneer head unit in. Good luck to you though

yep, this is a common problem... and the real bummer is that if you take your radio out, disassemble it and take the CDs out, it will most likely jam the next time you put a CD in (trust me, i tried it). The head unit has failed and needs to be replaced. This is a "known issue" with these head units.

The dealer will swap it out, but they send the radio away and will not service it themselves. This means that 6 weeks later you will get your stuck CDs returned to you in the mail.

I went through this myself. Had head replaced under warranty... then, like everyone else, I finally bought myself a new head unit...

thanks for the info,
i'm glad that this is something that warranty can replace,
i'll probably look for a nav system down the line after i get some other parts. thank you again for the help.

Mine did something like this when i still had it in my car. The dealer told me to unhook the battery cable and wait a few seconds, then plug it back up. It worked fine on mine. Might be worth a try.
