Mine has been working fine... so far... *knock on wood*

Is there any way to relocate the chirper to safer location? Or are there any aftermarket ones that are more durable and can be used instead of stock?

I once read on Nasioc that someone made a splash guard out of a sheet of aluminum. Seems reasonable that it should prolong the life of the stock sensor.

I got the same problem. My buzzer does not work, nor does the security light in the dash, but my lights do flash, and my doors lock/unlock when I press the remote, also my horn beeps after I press the remote button three times quickly. I've tried the instructions on the back of the remote but nothing.
Can anyone help????
Does anyone know where the security module is in the car????
I tried to be as detailed as posible.

bumping an old thread.

my 'buzzer' is intermittent as well. just wondering if anyone has found a way to permanently fix this or replace with aftermarket that is more durable or relocate the stock one to a less abusive area.
thanks.

replacing it with the oem buzzer fixed it for me. i think in 04-05, they had some sort of glitch. mine went out with 2k on the clock. mine was replaced under warranty. 2 years later and it's still bleeping.
