since i never had a stock sub. i'm just going to assume kenwood sub >> stock sub.

Yeah I'm interested in a comparo the stock sub isn't that great. Also interested as to how easy the install would be if you already have the stock sub and you are replacing it with the kenwood. For the price of the kenwood + easy install? Seems like a win win to me

well the stock sub install really has nothing to do with an after market system install. there's no convenient plug harnesses that connect to the stock deck. and the power you have to draw from the battery through the firewall. the install isn't hard but its not fun since you do have to commit like 45 mins - 1hr when you would rather just drop it in and go out and have fun.

but i like the sub.

bump for stock sub/compare to this. I have the stock sub, but Im hesitant to buy this without knowing something. I too would prefer to avoid putting a full system in the trunk.

I'd like to know where you got it for $130? Crutchfield has it for $249 right now. After my cousin put a sub in his car, i'd like to do something as well!

i got it for 140, but looks like they've raised the prices.

still pretty cheap tho.

yes this is where i got it. hmm.. nope, you don't need nothing else.. other than velcro if you don't want to screw it down to the car floor.
