Default Signal Lights Won't Flash When Arming/Disarming Security

Like the title says, all of a sudden today when I went to get into my car I hit my unlock button as I always do, only this time the turn signal lights didn't flash. I tried all sorts of things and can't get them to flash. I read through my owners manual and don't see anything on it.
Does any body have the fix for this? It's a 05 BTW.

i know there is a fix dont panic. I think it has to do somethin with the unlock lock buttons on your keyless entry thingy. I think it was something like hold the buttons down for 5 seconds or somthin. you have to find the directions for it.

I too had this problem today, and your suggestion fixed my problem, my question is where/how did you know how to fix it, it says nothing of this in the owners manual that I could find.

Looking for some more info on this, if anyone has any? Mine seems to flash, or not flash, randomly. for usually a couple days at a time. then it will switch. Maybe im turning it on and off unknowingly? Does clicking the button several times maybe change it? I know i never hold it down for 5 seconds, but sometimes i will click it a lot i guess.
