So i've been looking at new decks for my car and think i decided on one. Now i know the whole thing of you get what you pay for and this and that.............but im looking at the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. It's their double DIN with DVD/CD and ipod interface. I know its pretty cheap at 500 for a DVD headunit but it seems like a pretty good one to me. I just cant justify really spending over 1k on a deck. And 500 seems pretty good to have a DVD player on it too. Has anyone else tried or used this deck?

what else do you intend to run off of this head unit besides 4 speakers?

nothing for now but eventually probably an amp and a sub maybe. or maybe an amp for speakers too. so the preouts would be nice to have already.

get something that has a 6 channel RCA pre-out... dedicated sub outs are a lot more flexible in system design and tunability down the road.
