Default replacment speakers

The stock speakers sound like crap, and I want to upgrade all four speakers. I want to keep the stock head unit as it works just fine, and looks good imo. What speakers work well with the factory head unit? Thanks in advance!

A lot of guys seem to think just new speakers with stock HU will not sound good, I am not one of them. I put 4 Polk Audio DB Series in my 06 and got what I was looking for; improved sound for little money.

Hey minor threats,
Did the Polk Audio speakers work with the stock wires?
And do you remember the sizes that you purchased?
Thanks a lot,
ZondaF

you will need a wire harness to connect the new speakers to the factory wires, unless you are confident you can rewire properly.

front: 6 1/2"
rear: 4"

mounting depth is the biggest issue, being that there is not alot available in the front doors. Make sure you do the install with your windows down, that way you'll be sure that you will still be able to open them completely after the install
Most speakers need spacers though, except for specially designed shallow ones.
