so i recently bought a 07 headunit from one of the member here. and its installed on my 05 sti. After installation, i burned mp3 cd containing about 300 mp3 files.

Problem is, the headunit only reads it as 29 songs. i tried to press different button and it seems like its only reading 29 songs.

Is there are glitch on these headunit? or is there updated firmware?

Make sure all your files are mp3s and there aren't any other file types mixed in there.. I think i burned a cd once with some files that were in a different format (i think .mpa) in they didn't work.

Also, the right knob on the HU scrolls through folders so if you separated what you burned onto the disc into folders, you can scroll through the folders that way.

also im guessing it can only play 99 songs per folder? since it only has two digit number screen
