Default 07 headunits on 05

i just purchased 07 sti headunits from one of the fellow member here.
just wondering if it is direct fit or not...and how's the install? what should be expection?
any password or code you have to input?

let me know everything

I just took a look at the 05 and 07 wiring diagrams, and they look 100% identical. So I say slap it in! It should fit

There isn't much to pulling the headunit.
Shifter trim pops off, two screws at bottom of center trim, pull that off.
