Alright gang,

Sorry in advance if this is spam, but I can't find the answer.
I want to connect my iPhone to my car stereo to listen to music through the factory head unit in my 05. Is this not possible? I realize that many 08's now come with an AUX In terminal for this purpose. But, what about older models? Could I not tap into the connector present for where the factory subwoofer goes.

i dont know about what the factory subwoofer goes into. maybe.
but i know that if you go to best buy and tell the car audio people, they are usually able to tell you what you need, make sure you get one for the iphone though, because the non iphone cable doesnt have a radio frequency (RF) coating on the wire, and you will have to put it in airplane mode to use..
i do know that you can get a cable that is RCA --> 2.5mm headphone jack.
this may be an easy answer..... either way, GL!

Thanks a lot for the Jazzy pointer. Wow. I was not even aware of that. I was hoping not to have to upgrade my stock deck. i happen to like it, and this should do the trick.
