Default priming turbo and engine

what is the proper procedure to prime turbo and engine with oil after finishing an engine install? I read you pull ignition fuse and crank motor? if so how long ?

There is a green connector behind the plastic cover in the passenger's side footwell, which is the power to the fuel pump. If you disconnect that you will be able to crank over the engine without it starting. The best way to tell that the turbo is primed is to leave the oil drain hose disconnected and crank over the engine until a steady flow of oil comes out of the drain port. Then reconnect the drain hose and you are good to go.
