V-lip underskirt

We are polling the group mind for a solution to this. We have a customer with the V-lip with underskirt who is trying to figure out how to install the underskirt which really amounts to a rubbery strip with contact adhesive. We no longer have one in stock to open and look at and we can't figure out the issue. So has anyone any experience putting the underskirt on?

Yeah, i kinda need some help too. the instructions are all in Japanese.

The problem isn't the adhesive. It seems to be that the actual application process is not clear. I guess that includes locating the strip before applying and making the strip stand up properly as the adhesive side is pressed in place.
