Default 15,000 mile service question

It is clear when the 15,000 mile service states to inspect the belts, it means for cracks, but how tight should they be?

They should have a bit of play when you press on them but not too much. They should also not be so tight that they don't "give" at all....

Take your thumb and press it into the middle of your palm. That's how much play the belts should have!

I usually just make sure I can give them a little twist to about 90 degrees with moderate difficulty. It's kinda hard to explain, it's more of a 'feel' thing.
