Question What Oil Gauge?

I'm looking at getting an Oil gauge and I like the Autometer gauges. Which one do I go with; Autometer lists 2 of them:
  • Auto Meter Sport-Comp 0-100psi Electronic Oil Pressure Gauge Includes electric 1/8" NPT sender and 1/4" NPT fitting.
May require some additional fittings for imports, available here.
  • Auto Meter Sport-Comp Electronic Oil Temperature Gauge 140-300 deg. F
I'm debating the first one because it says some additional equipment may be needed; however they don't tell you what that is.

Default Re: What Oil Gauge?

Ones a Temp gauge and the other is a pressure gauge. Im pretty sure that you need a bigger range for the pressure gauge (0-200 psi). Thats what a guy from summit racing told me. It all depends on what you want... You'll have to get a oil adapter or tap your oil pan for the fitting...
