IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2009 | How about a little help for my 2009 STI? It has no dipstick, only a plug at the top of the transmission. What size is the plug, it looks like an allen socket? What are the sizes of the drain plugs? (are they the same as the 2007?) |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2009 | Thanks for the help. Things have changed since I worked on my 2004 WRX! Do the 2008+ models use the T70 bit like the 2007 |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2008 | Just did my tranny, took 3.75 quarts and also did my rear diff. Motul FTW!, and wow shifts are now silky smooth! The only downfall is while i had the car on jack stands and was doing the rear diff I noticed a broken Endlink on the passenger side Thanks for the write up! |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | Can someone tell me how many drain holes there are on a 07 5mt? i've read there is the one clutch side that has a 70 T torx bit. is there a second drain hole? what size socket is the second on the wrx. and also what is the torque on the second bolt? i know i may be in the wrong forum but i dont want to create a new thread? |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2009 | BTW, the 2009 STI takes a different torx bit than the T70!! I have a T70 (stamped on bit) and it doesn't fit the fill or differential drain. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2009 | The T70 bit is too large. I'm not certain of the correct size yet. |
