05 STi subaru emblem delete (front grill)

ok heres how to do the subaru emblem delete firsts things firsts tools you will need
flathead screwdriver
dremel
paint
bondo
sandpaper different gritts
a friend at his job

ok its not hard to do but you have to take your time with it or youl #$%@ up

step 1 taking off the front grill push down on six tabs show here

ok now that i can use paint kinda ok
step 2 remove backing grill with the sti on it three clips and slide down sorry no pic but u get it
step 3 the hard part cut the center piece out with the dremel leave a trim so if you mess up and go off course it doesnt dig into the trim bam

ok now when you sand on the bottom in order to get it smooth it will make a hole as shown because the plastic is to thin not to worry this is where bondo comes in

ok now when you bondo i did it from behind the hole so it is extruded through the whole as shown and sanded it down then bondod the dip you get and any other imperfections cause nows the time

theres a little nipple exposed haha anyway just sand that down then fill in the dip slowly

ok now sand it all down and degrease it

ok now that your done primer and realised you messed up and have a better person sand it down and do it again yes thats right

thats joe hes the guy that helps out when i @#$$up or dont know something major fan of the sti
and yes where at best buy thats right
ok first coat of primer

sorry didnt have a paint both or anything so yea

we paint here all the time painted my xbox to looks sweet any back to the subie
well to those of you up right now i will finish tomorow and take more pics

yeah the way i did i broke off the sti badge i thought it looks better though if you did want to take it off you have to break the tabs on the back and buy a new one
