Default Exhaust donut gasket question

Getting ready to bolt up my invidia g200 to stock dp, I have read alot of debate between reusing the donut gasket or removing it and using the provided crush gasket, any recommendations for best connection, a dp is hopefully coming in the near future.

I have tried a lot of different things but mine still leaks a little

I've pretty much given up because it will cost me like $40us for a gasket to get shipped to me....

Hopefully someone else will have some more insight!

So what do you feel has been the most efficient way... so I dont have to redo my install over and over.

I tried to make my own gastget which actually worked pretty good, but I just used a sheet of thicker Alum.... it's still not thick enough so that's why I still leak...

I don't know... I would probably buy this if it didn't cost me $20us to ship to me....

That gasket looks like the 2 they sent went the g200, so just take donut off and use this...or leave donut and that on...

I'd just use the supplied gaskets.

I'm going on the assumption that the g200 is a flat 3" flange designed to mate to a 3" downpipe. As such your going to be trying to seal a flat surface to a curved surface that looks like this.

It's not going to happen.

Pry the donut off so your factory pipe has a nice flat surface like this.

Clean the flat surface up a bit then use the gasket that came with the g200 or go to napa and buy a generic 3" exhaust gasket for about $10.

I've done the g200 install (about 2 weeks ago). You cannot install it w/ the doughnut gasket. Use the crush gasket that came with it, or get the 3 inch generic at a parts store.
