You definitely need to change your fluid ASAP. I don't track my car and at 15K it was horrible.

I would only recommend the factory fill or the Motul 90PA fluid.

i know this might sound dumb but could not changing the diff oil(i haven't) hurt my launching and fast shifting abilities...it seems like i hit a wall between gears

what about redline gear oil? i used it in my tranny good for the rear diff too? i currently have the sti off the road for the winter and plan on doing a oil change, rear diff change and radiator flush before it goes back on the road.... currently have 26k on the clock.

Man, I'm horrible to my car. I'm at 66k and I still havent changed my Diff oil.. =( I finally ordered it and hopefully I can do it this week.

I've done every other oil except my diff.. I wonder what color or how bad it'll smell shoot, if any oil is in there?

I know a lot of people like the oem fluid and a lot of people like the motul. What is the major benifit with going with the synthetic (motul) rather than the Oem fluid. Also has anyone used the motul for a long period of time? Any Problems?

its not an evo. technically there is no transfer case. the front drive assembly is housed in the clutch housing. when you change the trans fluid, you are also changing the fluid for the front differential and front drive system.

what about redline mt-90 i noticed its GL-4? whats that mean as is that ok to be in the 2005 sti tranny cause thats whats in mine. i was gonna put it in the rear diff... good or bad idea?
