Default rally armor urethane mud flaps

mud flaps did not come with directions. How hard can it be, right? Well, the c and z shaped clamps dont even fit right over the existing holes, and they protrude inhibiting the stock plastic from being able to lay back flat. Any one else have this problem(05 sti). Thinking about just getting some black self center push tappers(or whatever u call them).

I had the same problem with mine on my 05 STI...finally got them to work but it took longer than expected.

Excellent-

to note, in some instances you may have to realign the clips in the front sections slightly after placing the liner because of the close proximity of all the pieces. A pick, small screwdriver can come in handy for this. Aligning it until you can see the clip behind the liner as shown in the left side of the picture.

Another tip is to confirm that the insert (shown circled above) is completely flush in order for it to properly expand

Thanks again

Don't forget to drill your mounting holes .5" to 1" higher than stock, depending on how low you're dropped (if you're dropped). If you don't drill the holes higher, and you're dropped, you will scrape the sh!t out of your flaps, and possible tear them out of your fender lining.

Blackout, there is no need for height adjustment on the URs, they flex to accomodate lowered vehicles and are specifically made to accomodate this as well.

To quote Uncle Borat--"Very NIZE." I don't know which version of your flaps I have, but regardless of whether or not I had to drill the holes up higher, RA flaps ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

+1,
J
