it could have been done this way, i dropped my trans to do my clutch but i think pulling the engine would be easier w/out a lift.

lol at messing up friend's garage I had to laugh outloud when I read the part about how you took the lightbulb from the garage

Anyway, informative DIY... although I don't think I'll do this myself when the time comes for a rebuild.

good write up. Almost exactly how I did my last one...

Side note, I bought that same grey/yellow handle screwdriver set a few weeks ago. How do you like it?

sti_guy you may want to ask for help from someone with a little mechanic experience but will pm you.

screwdriver set is alright, it has a nice case that keeps all of them together but they arent very strong if your really cranking on them. i havent broke one yet but i will. but then again for less than $20 ill buy another set.

everyone else, thanks

be carefull with that lube if your reusing your clutch. and sometimes its easier if you have someone under the car because you can get a prybar between the engine/trans under there(ive never had to do this)

lol... reuse the clutch... Thats a good one... Do you have a way to glue fibers back onto the disk? Or remove the metal shine from the disc? I'll post pics of the clutch later on for you.. Exedy 3 puck FTW...
