any step by step on replacing a clutch on 06 STi?

Have 06 STi, upgraded turbo to 35r and, well clutch is gone. Would like to see if posible any ilustrations showing how to ......? Thanks

I can't imagine it being that much different from previous years... The gearing's a little different, and they probably changed the clutch, but everything that requires you to bolt/unbolt I would think is the same. Functionally anyway... you've got bolts attaching things to the flywheel, you have to unbolt the trans from the engine, get the linkage out of the way somehow so you can move the trans around (unless its cable linkage I guess, I haven't really looked).

What steps are you worried about? I've heard some people say its eaiser to unbolt the engine and use a engine hoist to slide the engine forward than it is to slide the trans backwards... but I haven't done a clutch myself since like '99 on an old BMW...

The last time I had a clutch replaced (about 6 mos ago on my old RS) it was like $350 for the job. If you're really worried about it, have someone else do it. Then if they screw something up, you have someone to blame other than yourself ;-)

Ummmm, I kinda expected them to all be the same. But I haven't found a DIY for a clutch install for ANY year STi. Anyone know where I can find one?
