Angry Installing Stock Injectors. PLEASE HELP

I had my car tuned in denver at mac autosport this past weekend and they said that my injectors 1 and 2 are trashed. I got 4 used injectors and i put them in and my car wont start. I have no idea where to go from here.. The injectors are off of a 2005 sti and have an 04. When i first started it it turned over a few times and then a tonecame on and thats all that happend after the first few time i tried to start it. I tried disconnectinng all of them to make sure the connection was good and the i unplugged the fuel pump to see if that might do anything. Now im stuck in albuquerque until i can get this fixed and i have class on monday and theres no one who can take a look inbetween that time. I dont know anything about cars like you guys so if you guys know what the problem might be please give me some ideas. Thanks, Collin

everything that i had undone has been grounded back to the way it was before. where is the ground that your talking about and i have a feeling im missing something simple but im not sure what more i can try. i just pulled my spark plugs and a **** load of gas came out of two of the plugs. I replaced all of spark plugs and put all of the injectors in and then i tried to start it again and it did the same thing before. Its not even turning over and a mechanic thought that it was the starter but i dont see how it could be the starter if i was able to pull the plugs and clear out all the gas. I think my next step is going to be pulling the plugs and make sure they work. Like i said i dont know anything about cars so if you know anything that can help that would be great. Thanks alot.

Well you may have torn an injector O ring and its just loading your cylinders up with fuel. That makes sense because all the fuel is coming out of your cylinders when you take out your plug and then it wont crank. Liquid is will not compress therefore not allowing your car to turn over. Replace all your O rings, lube them up next time.

Hmm.. not that I can think of right off the top of my head. I work at a hydraulic shop and I mess with O rings all day. The only thing I make sure to do is replace all O rings with new ones, lube them up with some type of lubricant, and when they go in make sure they dont catch anything that can tear them. Have you replaced the O rings yet?

I didnt replace the o rings but i looked at them and they had no visibale damage. Im guessing the injectors i got are ****. i put the old ones back in and the car started but now it runs way bad. So now i need to order new injectors and hope that works. Do you know if i have to have my car retuned if i throw bigger injectors in or will i be ok? Thanks alot

you will have to scale for larger injectors.

We need to know why your injectors were out/replaced in the first place? Give us the whole story please.

Im willing to bet money if you replace your O rings and your injectors slide in correctly your car will run just fine. As long as the injector isnt stuck open then it should be just fine.

Try throwing in a new set of plugs for the drive home, if you loaded up the old ones that bad with gas, that could be part of the reason the car is running so bad now...aside from the 2 bad injectors. That is if it is worse then when you had the two bad injectors before hand.

only one side went bad, ill have to agree with the others that either

1. you forgot to reattach the ground for the harness on that side

2. tore the o rings

thats a huge coincedence for both injectors to go out on just one side, so i am leaning towards option 1

If your in ABQ you could send your injectors to WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services and they will replace all the o-rings and clean and flowtest your injectors but your car is out 2-3 days but its only $75 just another thought
