Make sure you torque them to 40-45 ft-lb.

I'm getting awfully confused about the "holes", and what settings I'm actually running on my car now.

Just put on my front 27-29 and rear 22-24-26 bar, both with kartboy endlinks.

My front bar, the endlinks are set to the hole closest to the FRONT of the car. Does this represent 27mm?

My rear bar, they are set to the hole closest to the FRONT of the car as well. (away from the rear) Is this 22mm or 26mm? (I really have no idea, lol)

bump for an answer. the wl instructions only list the 3 hole settings.

The outermost hole, the hole closer to the end of the bar, represents the highest thickness or in your case 27 mm.

This applies both to the front and to the rear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are wrong, it's the otherway around. The closer the hole is to the bar, the less leverage for movement, thus a harder setting..

this is out of hand. sways are one of the most popular mods for our cars, and, after all these years, there is still dis-agreement on something so simple as which setting is firm and which is soft... i cannot believe that wl's instructions only show the 3 hole bars, not the front. heck, the front bars have the holes essentially side by side, which only further complicates things.

also, i cannot anywhere find a good pic of the kartboy endlinks for the front. the ones in this thread have TWO spacers on each link..... from what i have been told, that is not at all correct.

just wierd.

Nice writeup! Thanks.

One comment: In one photo you show the rear lifted on the jack, using a piece of 2x4.This can be VERY dangerous. With the wood in place, there is nothing to keep the car from sliding sideways off the jack. Of course we all install jack stands before even thinking of going under the car, but, sometimes we are in a hurry, and s**t happens... If anyone is under the car and it slips off the jack, you've got a problem. I've seen it happen!

The jack is cupped, which keeps the the car from slipping sideways. And always use jack stands (which you have). I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new, but hopefully these comments will remind people that 'wood on the jack' can be very dangerous.

Thanks again for the post!

If you must use wood, it would probably be safer under the jackstand, as a base.
