all you do is undo the 2 bolts on the end of the downpipe, unhook all the rubber hangers, spray some wd40 in there if you need to, then put the hks midpipe on the end of the downpipe, put that one hanger on it, then put the hks axle back onto that and put the 3 other hangers on the hks exhaust and youre done

yes you have to use the front two spring bolts but the rear you should use new hardware and a 3 inch gasket

dont use wd40, it will be a mess. I would use windex or any window cleaner for lube.

If your on the stock DP, your gonna have a hard time compressing the bolt/spring set-up... took 2 people and some creative large plyer work to get the nuts back on. unless you want to just go with-out which is what you'll end up doing when you get an aftermarket DP anyways. As far as gaskets, I just needed one 3" 2 hole gasket for the midpipe/axleback connection.. the stock one worked for the DP/Mid connect.

pb Blaster or screwloose is the best penetrating lubricant ive found... either way this is a straight forward install and a good way to start off modding

thats the point of using wd40 so it is slippery, if youve ever tried getting a dried up hard rubber hanger off then youd see how handy wd40 is
