Default Perrin Turbo Inlet Trouble!!! Please help if you can!

Hey, I have researched an didnt find anything that has helped so I am starting this thread...

I have a stock turbo, stock up pipe, stock down pipe. I am trying to replace the stock turbo inlet with the Perrin Turbo Inlet made for the stock turbo. Well I have the intake manifold up out of the way, top mount, hoses, fuel lines, ect.. out of my way and removed the stock inlet. Started to install the new and these is where the fun begins, #1 it seems as though the turbo is to low, the perrin inlet fits around the turbo inlet fairly well around the top, however the bottom isnt sliding on. and the filter side of the pipe seems to be sitting too high so it appears that the manifold will not come down and sit on the heads. #2 the turbo seems like it needs to be turned to the right a 1/2". because it is to close to the the top of the tumbler generators again no allowing the manifold to line up. I knew coming into this project that it was going to be a tight fit but the way this is going tight fit is a under statement. any suggestions please feel free... I would be rather upset to put the stock on after getting to where I am now.
Thanks JT
