Default How to cut DP heatshield??
How can I cut the DP heatshield to fit the HELIX DP. I saw the ex. @ COBB.com but I dont have a dremmel, can I use metal sissors??

easy: buy a dremmel. You'll get your money's worth of use out of it, it comes in extreemly handy.

I used tin snips on mine and some good old fashioned forearm strength. Then I smoothed the edges with a dremel.
I agree with KarzyKarl that a dremel is well worth the money. I have used mine countless times.

Tin snips FTW, same here.... just get ready for a fight once you get to the double layered section... if you have a dremel with a cutting wheel i would highly suggest that...

but if you want hair on your chest i say get some tin snips and go at it

I used tin snips and a lot of elbow grease. Now my right fore arm is much bigger than my left one.
