My spray nozzle has actually been completely clogged before. I cant tell you if it's from tap water or not, but that's what I was using.

Oh no not this thread again!! WASHER FLUID is safest. It's designed for use in plastic tanks with that pump (same as washer fluid pump), has the proper additives to not clog nozzles (like on your windshield) or create deposits, won't freeze and will not harm the aluminum or paint. No it won't turn your engine compartment or intercooler blue and yes it has the same cooling/evaporative properties as plain old water.

distilled water is preferred since the tap water has calcium and other deposits that will build up in the lines that eventually will clog.
