I've bought specialty tools from Kent-Moore before and thought that the prices were reasonable,so I started an inquiry to see if there might be some mistake. An answer could take several weeks. I'll report back if the item was mispriced.

As I recall, it was more expensive than I thought it should be, but yeah, not $357. Could be a decimal off and it should be $35.70?

At any rate, you are better off spending the $ on the pass-though gear wrench or something.

I bought eight from Cobb. I used one at each end of each spring, running to the very end of the spring. Many noises that had been plaguing me for years disappeared.

Can you post a link to where you found them? I can't seem to find any on Cobb's site.

I think that they are too minor an item to be on the website. They are called "Spring Silencers" and cost $36 for eight. They are made by Tein. Phone Cobb.
