SOLVED!

without removing your bumper!!!

you need THESE! :

i have an extra set of these plugs if anyone needs. i can ship them to you. i can get more if a few of you need them! let me know

i got these from my work in parts... (GM Dealer)
should be able to find them in other locations, ill check and post any up.

-------------------------------------------

what you need:

*perrin front plate delete (www.perrinperformance.com)
*allen key for the provided screws
*2x plastic push in tabs (above)
and
10 minutes

--------------------------------------------------

process:

-take anything out of the front plate screw holes.

-push in the said plastic tabs, they should pop right in with not to heavy of a force

- put the perrin plate up to the area, and use the screws provided. you will need the correct allen key.

*note- it will concave a tiny bit, it is normal because it cannot sit flat.

I got the autospeed version of that and it came with star drive screws that thread into the license plate holes. The screws weren't normal star drive though, there's a small peg in the center of them so they require a matching driver with a hole in the center (i guess to prevent it from getting stolen as easily). I think you could probably find screws that'd work for you at home depot though. Or you could go to autozone and just get regular license plate screws and that should work too.

Some 3M heavy duty double sided tape will be more than enough to hold it into place. Most hardware stores sells them.

just use normal license plate screws that will fit through the holes.
a bolt and nut would be stupid.

I have the same one and I don't have to take my bumper off, my hand fits behind the bumper fine... what is blocking you from putting your hand behind the plate?

that explains it.

but anyways... another size screw DOES NOT work. the hole in the plate delete is the same size, or smaller than the stock holes in the car. so it dosent thread in...

sigh.
