hi.i just bought a pair morrete headlight for my 05 sti from carter subaru. We went to hook them up but had some problems. There are two harnesses that connect to the rear of the stock lights. One large one and a smaller one. We connected the smaller one to the morettes just fine, was a direct plug in but for the large stock connector we couldn't attach it to the small morette connector. They're both 3 wire harnesses, do you have to cut off the connectors and attach the wires? I was under the impression that this stuff was all plug and play (should be for the price!). They also need to do something about their instructions! If a company wants to sell a product to people in another country the least they can do is hire someone who knows english to write decent instructions in ENGLISH. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nope, not plug and play, you need an adaptor harness or do some cutting. It's been a while since I've seen anyone selling the adaptors. I'd start clicking that search button if I were you. I can't remember what style bulbs come in the morettes, H3 or something like that. And do you honestly think the french give a good god damn about english instructions? Not likely.

i called carter subaru this morning about the headlight's problem.they told me that i have to do some MOD for it or send it back to them to get me money back.if i can't get help or something.the only thing i can do is get the money refund.the lights look nice thought.but no choice.
