Default SPT Intake ECU reprogram

So I installed my SPT Intake without a hitch. I did remove the + connection to the battery as instructed. It runs like a champ. I did notice yesterday when I was refueling. There's a warning sticker by the gas cap that says not to continue fueling once it stops. A practice I have done since I got the car. I noticed that after I got in my car that the Fuel needle didn't peg out "Full" like it normally did. Anyone seen or heard of this? thanks

if you keep filling the tank the fuel will come up the filler neck and go down the tube for the charcoal cannister for the evap. emissions system, if something fails this may not get covered by warrante because you were warned by the sticker

Depending on where the needle was before the fuel fill-up will result in a slower moving needle on first start after the fill-up. When I fill from half or greater the needle sometimes takes a while to move, but when I'm lower than half, it goes right up.

Subby tech told me that it's one of the Subby/Impreza quirks.

When you fill up, do not Fill it up as fast as it can, put the little thing in the middle so it flows at a medium rate. The foam in the gas tank causes it to think that it is full, even though it isnt. If you fill up slower then it wont foam as much and your needle will go to Full.

It worked out just fine. I filled up only holding the handle 1/2 way. Good Advice
