Default The best way to take out 06'+ fog light covers

I know this seems stupid but I don't want to scratch my paint. How do you remove the 06'+ factory fog light covers?

I just removed my bumper on my 07 like two weeks ago and if you did that you would have good access to the back of it I would assume to remove it instead of trying to do it from the front side. Not that it is hard but i posted a thread in here about removing the 07 bumper so you can see where all the clips are at.

If you dropped the undertray, you can probably reach them from behind and push them out.

take a really thin flat head screw driver. lay a piece of electrical tape over the tip of it so its flat and then insert it in the little slit on the front of the cover at the bottom middle. While inserted lift up and pull towards you and it should pop right out

You can see the spot where you need to put the screwdriver here:

same here, if you put your hand under the car, you can reach in between the undertray and the bumper and push them out from the backside...
