Default diffuser dosent fit after hks hipower

so i put the hks hipower on and now my diffuser dosent fit. i thought the skidplate for the diff wouldnt clear but my whole diffuser dosent clear now. any ideas? cut out a piece to make it fit?

I don't think there any threads Ive seen. I just measured it by eyeball and cut away as much as needed until there was some clearance.

i have the HKS hi power on my 06... i had to use my dremel with cutting wheel... took like 2 minutes to mark it and cut it... after that the exhaust fit fine..

my buddy with a hks carbon-ti exhaust had to cut a piece of it. just measure and cut. remember to measure twice and cut once.

I have a TXS turbo back and I had to trim the diffuser too. Just eye ball it. I just had to take alittle off with air grinder. Too easy!

Yup...get some chalk.....draw the line where it needs to be trimmed, and trim that sucka!

Can anyone post some pics up of the install or how much they needed to cut form the bumper? I'm thinking of picking up this diffuser and would like to know beforehand what is involved. Underbody pics are welcomed too!

I think you cut the diffuser not the bumper. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

just eye ball, and cut a notch in the diffuser. Thats all you have to do. I had to do it with my G200 when i swapped it off my 04

i have the hks carbon ti which is pretty much the same as far as size i just used a dremel and placed it where it would be on the car then outlined with a sharpie where it need to be cut, simple and effective process if your not affraid to dremel haha

i dunno, my friend has a 06 and a hks CBE and he didnt cut anything.
