I got mine at Advance Autopart I think..... you may be able to internet order one cheaper though and a lot of shops don't carry them. I had to call around and found this shop which was on my way to work. Be sure to get the cleaner and oil too and follow the directions.

think doing this delete will void the warranty...heading to bring my subaru in for the subwoofer/amp but chances are they wont even be looking in the engine compartment ... > ?

No, this should not void the warranty as long as you run a good filter. Also, mine is not detectable from the engine compartment the way mine is configured.

I did this to my 07 and it seemed to cut down on my already not so great gas mileage. Has anyone else noticed this? Also, I know the 07's run a bit leaner so will this hurt my car by sucking in the extra air without a tune?

you might be getting worse mileage because you keep spooling the turbo to hear the noise haha. alot of people had that problem.

On my '05 I record the mileage every single tank.....yes, I know, I'm a freak. What I found out is that when you compare 30 tank fulls before and 30 tank fulls after the mod that there is no significant statistical difference before/after the mod. I still average 18 mpg with wild swings between 13 and 24 based on how I drive, where I drive, and pump cut off error.

My mileage did go down right after the mod because I was mashing the pedal more to hear the cool whooosh sound.....

Thanks for the info guys. Do you think this will have any ill affects on my engine due to the 07's being leaner? Could I be sucking in more air then the ecu will allow for the current air to fuel? I know you have to get a tune for an intake so I wasnt sure if it was the same kind of scenario?

No, you won't have a problem. The ECU will adjust to compensate and really the difference this mod makes is negligible.....but hey, it's free .....except for the high flow air filter...
