Tried this on my gf's car yesterday since she doesn't know how park and sideswiped a concrete column and ruined her 3 week old scion tc 3.0

Both methods sure didn't work

i think those methods are for what me and some buds of mine call Clean dents like if someone Gently pushed in the fender now Crushed Fenders..

the Dry ice has worked for some dents if the Fender or what ever your working on is a sharp dent it wont work or if its crushed it wont work. i dont know how to explain the dent thing but it has worked for us.

Bump for more results, I have a nickle size ding on the pass door that I got like 4 days after I bought the car. It's small but makes my blood boil, considering I go out of my way to park by myself...

there are kits for Removing that kind of dent some guy at my local Dealership show's up independent. and does dent.. pretty cheap i think he charged my bud like 60 bucks for 4 dents.. paintless that is paintless dent removal

the theory of it is that the hair dryer is to heat it up and the can is to cool it down rappidly so when the metal contracts it contracts the dent out same with the dry ice just slower

I'm pretty sure the dry ice method is only supposed to work on aluminum.
