Default wheel stud replacment

any ideas on how to do this mod? I've looked at the scooby mods thread and I tried to install the rears today. I even took off the E-brake shoes for more room. The new studs are 66mm long. They go with a wheel spacer kit I got for auto-X. I'll try the fronts tomorrow.

really isnt that hard just a PITA, i did it on a cold winter day so my hands were freezing, just some tips, dont tighten the bolts down on the tone ring too tight, i snapped one you have to sit for awhile and manuver it around for a bit, i used a extendable magnet that i use at work to reach objects i dropped, just put it into the hole on the hub and kinda magnatized it there and pulled it through. i didnt take off the shoes, i just finagled it around and i got it to go through, just be patient and you will get it.

The stock length studs are apiece of cake to put in its the long ones that are hard to do.

For the longer ones, did you have to take the whole assebly apart and redo the bearings or did you cut a hole through the back of the shoe?

I was going to drill a 3/4" hole in the backing plate and then plug it. One friend said it would work another said that moisture and debris would scerw with the abs. What to believe?

I kinda doubt that, still if the hole is plugged then it should be fine.
