Default Need Help: Perrin master cylinder brace

I have seen the cusco master cylinder brace install, and i'm pretty sure its similiar. I have one question though. I noticed the cusco portion that has the bolt to stop the Master cylinder from flexing has the locking nut on the MC side. but the perrin's instruction has the locking nut on the opposite side. has anyone who installed a perrin MC noticed this? and what have they done? did they put it on the inside like the cusco or follow the instructions like the perrin.

correct me if i am wrong but isn't the locking nut suppose to stop the bolt from backing out over time? yet the perrin's placing of the locking nut doesn't make sense at all, it still backs out.

I have the Cusco one and it has stayed in place for me for over a yr. now. I would do it cusco way, its the right way in the first place! I do not know who rights the directions for Perrin products but I had a experience with there instr also of not making any sence.

I'm not quite sure what the other two fellows are trying to say. I have the brace, installed it according to the directions, and have not had it budge in over 10k miles of hard driving.
