Default Change my 5x100 to 5x114?

I've heard of this being done can anybody run through on what parts I'd need to do this?
I've gotten conflicting stories on the NAS, everything from change the bracket? to changing the whole axles and replace the brake assemblies.

I think you would only have to replace the hub. They go for 119 each on autopartsworld.com.

more wheel choices and much stronger wheel bearings than the (04 sti only) 5x100 sti bearings.

I wasn't really worried about the bearings, but Ditto to the Wheels - I'm tired of going man those wheels would be awesome go to the website and BAM 114 only really I'm looking for 18x8.5 but eventually I want to get a widebody kit and go up to 18x9 - 18x9.5 - or 18x10

You need new hubs, knuckles, and the 6 Gun adapter for the ABS. It's not a lot of work, just expensive for new shocks, new brakes, new wheels, and the hubs themselves. I just finished up converting my car about a month ago, so PM me if you have any Q's.

Hmm, can you use the '06 suspension setup in a '04 to switch it from 5x100 to 5x114 ?? (if so, what exactly do i need from the '06?? Hub, Knuckles, shocks/struts(?)... Im guessing I need the 6 gun adapter.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but its along the same topic

If you want to go cheap, you can re-drill your stock rotors...and I belive (correct me if im wrong) you only need 05+ FRONT struts...not rear. From what I understand you dont have to convert the rear struts...but again someone correct me if im wrong

Sooo...all you really need is the 6gun kit, front struts, and new rims. I would personally try to re-drill the rotors if they arent worn out. When I do the conversion I will get new rotors since mine are probably at the end of their life.

Awesome, can anyone confirm?
I will probably try to get my hands on a '06 front assembly.

For the rear, I will need hub, knuckles ??

(of course and the 6gun kit for aBS)

Well, not really... but if you feel the need to do it for wheel selection the 6Gun kit is the way to go.

In addition to that you'll need wheels and a suspension that'll bolt up to the new hubs.

I've completed this swap, so if you have any specific questions feel free to fire away.

I dont think its a huge upgrade, except that wheel bearings tend to go a lot in '04s when you track/auto-x/drive hard(?).

If you do a search on '04 wheel bearings, you'll find the answer.
