I would recommend using a spray bottle with dishsoap and water. It's better than any other lubricant because it will not deteriorate the silicone and it dries. Second recommendation is take your time. A set of oring picks will help out tremendously. If you're putting on a silicone inlet i would HIGHLY RECOMMMEND PUTTING A T-BOLT CLAMP ON THE TURBO. Also before you begin take off ALL of the aluminum pieces from inside the silicone pieces. Good luck...

Best lubricant is KY gelly we all know that!

But when your doing this mod Honestly PAM cooking spray was much better then WD40!

Reason is .. It smells better and wont dry out & washes off easily with no marks.

yeah installing my inlet was a big PITA...just get prepared to try to get that thing in there with some difficulty...there isnt a lot of room to play with it, which is why its hard. just get that sucker lubricated and it shouldnt be too bad, i didnt do that and i paid for it.

and to get the stock one out, i dont see how you can unless you break off the pieces sticking off of it. its not very flexible.
