One more thing, I am not sure what the following are, or where to get them:
ring terminals, fuse holder, 20 amp fuse, and the size of the screws would be a bit helpful.

If anyone can inform me of the materials listed above that would help me out a bunch. thanks again

I have a few of questions regarding the supplies needed as stated in LightWerkz's install guide.
1. What exactly are the male and female connectors? Where do I get them?
2. where do I buy the connector with hook on it?
3. Number 30 and 85 are a bit confusing for me. So the + side of the battery is ground, and what do you do with the stock grounding point located right next to the battery?

Ok, The male and female connectors, in line fuse holder, fuses, ring terminals can be purchased at your local autoparts store: Pepboys, Autobarn, Autozone ETC.

Look into Lightwerkz guide again, its real complete and I did my horns in about an hour and a half.

Cheers

ok i will go into a nearby autoparts store like you stated scuba and ask for those parts.

I guess his choice of words confused me a bit in the number 30 and 85.
So what is ground, and how do i re-use the stock ground point, if I even do use it again in the install?

Connect new ground wire to same location as your current horn uses.

the ground wire from the relay should attach to the ground wire attached to the body of the car, there is a wire that attaches to a bolt in the body on the drivers side body, you cant miss it, use a hook connector, loosen the ground on the body, slip it in there, and your good. PM Me with any questions.

I always encourage people to do their own bolt-on mods when they are simple enough to due, versus having a shop do it. This is certainly one of those mods. Based on your questions, you will want to get some direct help. Go to your local forum and ask if anyone would be interested in helping you with the install. I'm sure you'll get a few willing fellow Suby owners responding. This is a fairly low level mod, but it is one that could be dangerous if done too wrong.

I never said I was going to go to a shop. And yes, I am sure if I ask someone would be willing to help, however my personality is kind of stubborn and want to do it myself.

On the wiring diagram that floats endlessly through the DIY area here.... + goes to your battery...its the red wire under the red insulated cap thingy.

Now look at your driver's side fender, under your hood, nearest your battery. See the big, black wires? Thats ground aka: - If you look around your engine you will notice many larger black wires that bolt directly to strange points on the body of the vehicle or the block, etc. These seem to have no purpose but are integral to your DC circuits in your car. These are all grounds (-).

Don't ever mix up the two or it could be ugly for your electrical system. Good luck.
