I just bought an electric prosport boost gauge and I was wondering if I just wanted it to light up amber all the time all I would have to do is hoom up the amber light to a power and black to a ground and I'd b good?

red & orange wire to 12v ign.
blk to ground
green to sender
White- Do not hook up at all.

This will give you amber all the time.
