Exclamation HSPN TV: How-To / Install of LED Lighting on a 2006 STI

Today, HSPN TV, a division of HSPN Networks, released a how-to installation video of LED lighting from www.leddomelight.com on a 2006 STI.

The LED lights significantly improved the poor interior lighting of the stock vehicle. The before and after images seen in the video are taken from stills of the video camera.

sweet! does it all come as a kit? their website is not very informative. it just says "room light" and there are two different ones. one is $49.95 and the other is $68.95.

Yah thats exactly what I was confused about. I would only need the rear trunk light, and the rear license plate lights.....

Weird what happens when you pick up a phone.....

The front/map lights are $65
The dome light is $45.

I didn't inquire about the licence plate light since I have no interest in making that more visible

I would think you could make your own for a small fraction of $105. It might not be the same quality, and you might have to put some work into it, but it wouldn't be that hard.

I would recommend calling their phone number. The website is really hard to understand. I called them to let them know that people are having issues with their site and that they need to change "room lamps" to "dome lights" and "map lights" etc. They should have it fixed shortly...

Apparently the STI LED setup is the brightest of the bunch. The STI in the HSPN video looks like it's bright enough to guide in oil tankers from the sea.

These lights have gone trough 10,000 hours of testing and only use 1/8 of the power your normal dome light uses. These will be the last dome light you put into the car. This is what i read on thier website. They are very bright too it hurt my eyes the first couple times i got into the car after installing them.
