Use Rage Gold (expensive but great to work with) followed by Metal Glaze. Both made by Evercoat. You can only get them online or in bodyshop supply stores. The rage gold is very easy to sand and the glaze is good for pinholes and fine scratches. If cost is an issue regular Bondo brand filler/glaze from Homedepot will work as well since it's such a small area to fill. Sand with a sand block to avoid waves in the filler.

OK so this thread inspired me to do mine today. Didn't finish cause I started late. So you guys repainted the whole grill right, or only the places that needed it? And if you need to repaint the whole grill, you need to primer it first right? Although this mod is "easy" it is streeeesssnn me out cause I dont want to F*&k it up. Thanks.

You definitely need to repaint the whole grill, or it will look uneven. Don't need to paint the mesh, just the 'mouth'. Didn't use primer, make sure you use paint for plastics.

Great, one more thing, once its time to sand the putty/bond-o what ever...
Is it ok to accidentialy sand around the bond-o where it doenst need it? Or will that mess up your plastic? My thoughts are it does not matter because its gonna get painted anay way.
THANKS 4 THE HELP!

It should be fine to sand around the bondo. Just use a few different grits, working your way up to 400 or 600 to make it really smooth.
