IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 | Looks good and much cheaper than the one I made. I'll post some pics of mine tomorrow. It has a built in gauge, so it brings the cost up a little more.. |

| Professional STI Racer Feedback Score: 0 reviews | sorry for bumping an old threat. i really need to vacuum test my car cause 4th gear seems dead to me (3rd pulls a lot harder). when i disconnect the 3 hoses off the inlet (if i have to), with what do i cap them with? any special plug or hose? also which ones are necessary to plug to pressure the car to ~16-18 PSI without anything blowing up? let's say that 1 is the closest to the filter, and 3 is closest to the turbo. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 | sorry for the cellphone pic.... but i made mine basically for just the cost of the PVC. I had an extra valve stem that i hook to my tire pressure filler/gauge |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2007 | I might be kind of an idiot for missing it, but I want to be sure of this. Building it is not a problem, but do I just put it on the end of my intake? I have TurboXS FMIC and it would be exceptionally easy if that were the case. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 | sorry for bumping an old threat but i have some new questions. after presurizing the system and disconecting the air supply (quick disconect) should if there are no leaks shouldnt the system hold at 20 psi or is that air going to come out somwhere. im doing this right now and after i disconect the air gauge slowly drops. i cant realy hear where its comming from though. i am in a loud shop. any info will help. MY CAR IS RUNNING LIKE DOOODOOOO |

what size is the coupler?? 2 in. for me was the same size as the inlet. 1 and a half was kinda small. i could not find 1 3/4 so i just wrapped the 1 1/2 with tape and hopefully it will be big enough. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 | I usually only put 5 psi or so on the inlet, but I'll put 25 psi on the outlet of the turbo. I've put at least 5 psi on the inlet of at least 300 cars and haven't had an issue yet... Siegel |
