It's great that you guys are making videos like this! I have some constructive criticism : )

I know you note in the video that the shims should also be inserted. You may want to add that brake grease should be used between the shims and the back of the new pad. Failure to do so will result in squeaking.

Also, if you are doing all 4 corners and you, or anyone who has worked on the car, has previously topped up the brake fluid reservoir, you run the risk of overflowing it by compressing all the calipers and installing new pads. I make sure to pump the brakes a few times after each corner, and check the reservoir level. If it is above the high line, I extract any excess with a syringe.

It's really awesome that you guys are doing this, it will empower a lot of people to start working on their cars and save money!

Singletrack - Points well taken. I would have to agree with putting the brake grease between the shims and the rear of the pads, as i did have *squeaking issues* hahahah. so loud!

Yes, just tap water. You just want to wash any areas that got brake fluid spilled on them.
