just got one for 111.01 on Ebay... oh yeah. Can't wait to use this how-to to install that crazy deal. We will see however how used it is. Pic looked good and seller had great feedback so I think I pulled off another deal of a lifetime. Also got brand new Spec C suspension for 230.00 and STI ti shift knob for 61.00. Watch the ebay you can find this stuff cheap. Oh yeah and a brand new in box USDM genome axle back for 110.00! I am a slave to ebay but damn I get good deals. Still searching for "my deal" on a set of stock BBSs.

Exactly why I use a beam type torque wrench on these guys and it's only like 14.7 ft/lbs!

Thanks a ton. You're right, you don't really NEED the excellent instructions with pictures, but it sure as heck makes me feel a lot better. Definitely break the bar down into the three pieces to install it. And digitorque Craftsman wrench FTW.

I have to say, maybe its just placebo effect, but I thought the car was handling much better after the install.

yep, installing it in 3 pieces worked easily for me.

and i also agree, i did feel the car handle better w/ the front strut bar. it also stopped the front windshield from creaking which was a huge plus.

I wonder...would having upper strut bars void any kind of warranties? In other words if I get one of those installed on my car should I expect my dealership to give me crap when something goes haywire?

What they could void is the strut tops, etc. like "you break them you bought the replacement."
