It works like a charm, but what I will have to do is get another T fitting because when I connected the DEFI boost gauge, I unplugged the stock one. So I plugged the stock hose back in and it works like a charm. I am going to home depot today to get another fitting.

I love this mod. I completed it in about 1 hour this morning, using a free sample pressure switch from the manufacturer. Easiest functional performance mod ever.

Where are you guys getting the JDM Auto Switch from? Is there a part# for it? I found a site that had it but it was $40.

So the 08 STi owners, need to first retrofit an intercooler spray system and then do these mods to make it semi-auto?

FYI ~ I have both the JDM switch AND the eBay boost switch available for sale. I won't have the car back for a couple of more weeks (she's getting a new motor); however, I'm definitely parting it out and will cut a deal for both of them. For those interested, these two parts have never actually been "used" since I never finished wiring up the system. The JDM switch simply sits in the dash (with no wires) and the boost switch is sitting in series with the boost hose going to my boost gauge (also with no wires).

Generally you'd pay $52.00 (for the pair) + $11.50 shipping. I'd let both go for $45 shipped. PM me if-interested.

i did the install tonight and everything works great. However when the ignition is switched to acc. I can use the jdm switch to turn on and off my parking lights. Any idea why this would be? I followed the jdm wiring diagram on the first page and seemed to get it right. This is on a 06 sti

60 degrees out yesterday, flipped my switch to ON for boost activated spray and got nothing. Anybody have reliability/survivability issues with the boost switch? All my connections were sound before winter but I will double check...maybe the cold got to the switch...

2 questions:
1. Is this the correct relay (2-24 psi): eBay Motors: Boost Pressure Switch - For Turbo Water Injection hobbs (item 330208763186 end time Apr-30-08 13:39:21 PDT)
2. What is the vacuum line diameter and will it connect w/o an adapter to the switch nipple?

Yes, this should work. you will need a T fitting and possibly a reducer kit to fit it properly to stock lines (depends where you are tapping into). but a T fitting/reducer kit is cheap at Autozone.
