Hella supertones install can be done in 20 minutes if you just use the stock relay, which is fine for handling the extra current of the larger horns.

Alternate mounting location (uses stock hardware).

Instructions for quick install:
-wire the gnd terminals on the horns to the bracket
-open hood, remove grill piece
-install horns using the outside mounting holes near the radiator
-remove wires from stock horns and put in supertones
-enjoy louder horns

As for those who say that the horns aren't as loud without the Hella relay, this is incorrect, as I installed them with the relay on my other vehicle, and the sound was exactly the same.

I just got mine in this past weekend and this DIY made it straightforward for how to do the install and what I would need.
Here is a pic

just installed mine using this thread...

advice...
mount the metal tabs behind the radiator holes
use washers behind it to push the horns back further so it will not touch the grill at all...i used four and they clear the grill.

um otherwise, its pretty hot...i mounted my relay to a hole above the passenger headlight.

Any 06 owners use these directions? I know the mounting points will be different but as far as wiring, it should be the same right?

Havent installed my horns yet, might do it tomorrow because the weather will finally be nice and clear.

Just came from the garage, tried to test mount my horns, gave up after I couldnt pull out the 06 grills. I figured If I kept on going, I would have gotten anxious and just finished the lil project. Funny that I say grills.

Gotta study for a big test tommorrow anyway. I hope that I dont have to pull out the whole bumper. Anybody know how to pull out the 06 grills?
