Beware that when you are using either the cheap suck or blow pressure systems you are putting pressurized air in direct contact with your brake fluid.
The air bubbles in a brake system are usually microscopic is size ie not visible to the naked eye.
There is a reason that professional pressurizing systems have a diapham between the air and the brake fluid.

Also from reading the booklet for my 06 STi the brake system seems to only have a total volume of 500 ml or so. For that reason I would see no reason to use 1 1/2 quarts of brake fluid.

what should you do if you accidentally run dry? for maybe one brake pump
