Default Re: clutch delay valve delete - alternative method

one more quick question-- The only reason I want to do this mod is so because I don't want to wear out my clutch early (exedy twin)- is it neccesary to do both steps if this is my only concern, or would just taking the springs & plastic out of the slave be sufficient?

You can get rid of the entire orifice/cylinder like shown here....just bolt the line to the back of the slave cylinder...

My slave looks different, perhaps a change in 07 model?
My mechanic says he knows all about the delay valve, and the ferrule wasn't there, and the extra piece (orifice?) wasn't there. If anyone has experience with -07 please chime in!
Here are some pics:

FWIW, I only did the 1 mod. I did not touch the clutch master cylinder.

Exedy only has you take it apart remove the orifice inside, but I got rid of the whole damn thing. (saves weight)

I have the exedy twin plate clutch....so........

I also believe flycaster only did this mod also.....didn't do anything to the clutch master cylinder. We had conversations about it several months ago and I believe that holds true.
