IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2009 | He's exactly right, in fact that's how you would check it in my old 300TT as well, however the Nissan service manual actually gave a funny illustration showing how you stick your finger in and check lol. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 | So... OP used a T60 bit, but the service manual says T70 - which is correct? |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | T70 is correct; that's the one that I used. I also filled from the hole on the side of the transmission. The motul gear 300 bottle has an extendable neck that you can pull out of the bottle and stick into the plug hole. Easy cheesy, wish I would have done it sooner. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 | ^Thanks, did you find a need to replace any of the gaskets on the plugs? |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | You can reuse them. As long as they aren't damaged or crushed paper thin they'll be fine. It is just another way for the dealer to soak you for a couple bucks. Torque them down with a torque wrench and you never have to worry about ruining them. |
